Veteran in career management, an outplacement professional and search and placement recruiting specialist, Christian Smith launched CareerNiche in 2004, a customized Career Coaching Company with services including, Career Management, Career Coaching, and Outplacement. It services individuals and corporate clients across North America.
Launched by CareerNiche in 2005 Windsorjobsearch.com is a local job posting board and resume bank designed to service organizations throughout Southwest Ontario.
In 2000 he launched Execusource Staffing Intl, which is a full service staffing and professional search and placement firm for the SW Ontario-Detroit Michigan corridor.
In the recruitment and career management field he was a self-employed proprietor starting in 1998 with Exec-U-Search and then absorbing this company into the Execusource Staffing Intl Corporation for added growth.
Previously in Recruitment with Executive Recruiters International in Michigan between 1996-1997. Beginning as a Junior Researcher, Smith was promoted to Junior Recruiter and then Senior Recruiter and Technology Consultant and finally promoted to Senior Project Manager with the responsibility of launching and expanding the IT recruiting department and offering career management services to clients.
In his first year as a recruiter, Smith earned a Top Placement Award by the Michigan Association of Placement Professionals (MAPPs)
